Methodology
Every cell is computed from the statutory 2026 rate schedules: US federal brackets with the $16,100 standard deduction plus each state’s verified income-tax model; UK HMRC 2026/27 bands with the £12,570 personal allowance and 8%/2% National Insurance; Irish PAYE, PRSI and USC; German Lohnsteuer plus employee social contributions; and Dutch Box-1 rates including the 2026 general and labour credits.
All models are the same ones that power our calculators and were verified against official schedules — IRS, HMRC, Revenue, and the German and Dutch tax scales. Estimates are for a single childless filer with no pension or benefit deductions. See our methodology and editorial policy.
